Quite simply one of the best treks we offer for variety. This route enjoys the best of both worlds – the highlights of the Annapurna Circuit and the much quieter, unspoilt region of Naar Phu. This connoisseur’s choice of a trek takes in the challenging Kang La Pass in snow leopard country, before crossing the Thorung La on the Annapurna Circuit. Our trek to this recently opened region includes time in both settlements of Naar and Phu, neither of which should be missed as they are quite different from each other.

Our itinerary on this spectacular route gives us ample time to discover deserted settlements with an impressive Himalayan backdrop. As this is a restricted area, numbers of trekkers are limited. The large diversity of bird life and birds of prey, including golden eagles, Himalayan griffon vultures and the mighty lammergeyer is testimony to the quietness of the region.
