Annapurna Treks
Probably the greatest treks in the world!
Annapurna Treks

Choose from three exciting treks around Annapurna, including  a longer trek that includes the Manaslu ranges.

ANNAPURNA CIRCUIT (21 days total, max alt. 5416m)

Renowned as being one of the best treks in the world, and rightly so!

This route takes us around the huge Annapurna Massif and offers a challenging pass crossing, the most dramatic of picturesque lowland villages, high mountain scenery as well as a fascinating mix of local people and culture.

We will trek through the jungles of the sub-tropics, through lush green paddy fields and on to alpine forests and semi-desert (similar to the landscape of Tibet), all the time offering stunning and superb views of the mighty Annapurnas.

We will also meet and be warmly welcomed by a fascinating mix of village people from many of the different ethnic groups of the area, both Hindu and Buddhist.

ANNAPURNA SANCTUARY (16 days total, max alt. 4130m)

The Annapurna Sanctuary is a natural alpine amphitheatre completely surrounded by snow-capped 6000, 7000 and 8000 metre Himalayan peaks at very close range. This trek takes you through a variety of scenery, from the villages, farmland and jungle surrounding Pokhara, through alpine zones before coming into the Sanctuary itself.

After witnessing sunrise lighting up the Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri from the view point at Poon Hill, we spend a night at both Machhapuchhare and Annapurna Base Camps, allowing us to explore the Annapurna Sanctuary in depth and to witness sunrise and sunset at both Base Camps.

ANNAPURNA AND THE MANASLU PANORAMA (23 days total, max alt. 4100m)

This adventurous route attracts those who want to encounter the memorable experience of Nepal and a longer trek in a region that is completely unspoiled. Pioneered by CAT in 1999, this trek takes in many kilometres of trail, winding across the ridges and valleys that lie south of the mighty Annapurna and Manaslu ranges.

From the Korchen and Siklis routes in the Annapurna area, we link up with the Bhara Pokhari ridge walk in the Manaslu region. The ever-changing panoramic views from the open ridges contrast with secluded forest trails and a unique insight into village life.

Please contact one of our specialist advisors to discuss your trek in more detail so that we can provide accurate itineraries and prices.
