No. Your referral credit sits on your account until you’re ready to use it. There’s no expiry date and no rush. Some mountains require years of planning. Your credit will be there when you’re ready.

When they complete their booking form, there’s a dedicated field for a Sherpa Circle referral code. They enter your personal code there and the £100 discount is applied to their booking. Simple.
Yes — the £100 applies to their first CAT booking on any trek, any destination, any departure date. There are no restrictions.
The Sherpa Circle is currently available to past guests. But once you’ve been on your first trek, you’re in. And your first trek also comes with 5% off if you sign up to our mailing list — so there’s a good reason to get started.

It also feels right for a company founded by Doug Scott CBE, who spent his life bringing people to the mountains and believing deeply that those mountains should be shared. The Sherpa Circle is, in its small way, a continuation of that.
- The CAT Sherpa Circle programme is available to guests who have completed at least one Community Action Treks trip.
- £100 referral credit is applied to the referrer’s account upon the referred guest paying their deposit.
- £100 discount is applied to the new guest’s booking at the time of booking, using the referrer’s personal Sherpa Circle code.
- Referral credits have no expiry date and can be used against any future CAT trek.
- Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- There is no limit on the number of friends a Sherpa Circle member can refer.
- The discount applies to any CAT trek departure with no restrictions on destination or price.
- Community Action Treks reserves the right to amend or withdraw the programme at any time with reasonable notice to existing Sherpa Circle members.
